The Elmore School is Vermont’s last one-room schoolhouse, and offers a unique, high quality learning experience for up to 20 students in grades 1, 2 and 3. Mrs. Annamary Anderson, who has a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and a master’s degree in education, has led instruction at The Elmore School since 2000.
The Elmore School is enriched through the generous support of the Elmore community in many ways, from use of the Town Hall, to annual visits to the Elmore Fire Station, and beyond to many individual contributions of time and talent in support of our students. The Elmore School collaborates with the Morristown Elementary School and is also supported by the larger Elmore-Morristown community.
