Hello, I wanted to share a few notes on the Technology Safety talk given to the 7th and 8th grade students over the past two weeks. The 8th grade students were given this talk last year so it was a reminder. We reminded them that all communication on their phones and computers is retrievable if needed, so to please take a few seconds to think before sending something. Many students were surprised to learn that comments made to others outside of school can be addressed in school if the recipient reports it and screenshots are routinely used to document exchanges.   Students report that "Sexting"

PAML Family Handbook Change

Hello, The PAML Student/Family handbook has been updated to reflect our new dance eligibility rules.  The new wording is as follows: Students are eligible if they have met our behavior expectations (safe, respectful and responsible) during the two weeks prior to the dance. Examples that would not meet these expectations are physical or verbal aggression, breaking the weapon or drug policy, lying, skipping class, bullying, harassing, insubordination, or any behavior that would not be acceptable at a school dance.  We have done this to take the emphasis off the number of "yellow sheets" and it seems to have worked out well for the first dance.
