Print Resources in the Library

•  Use the Athena Catalog or browse the shelves at the 520s (astronomy) or 629.4 (space travel).

•  Try the encyclopedias. Use the index.

•  Look at publication dates!

 

Electronic Resources:

These resources are available to you at school or at home. Access them from the middle school library website.

 

•  Click on INFOTRAC      Type in the password.

Choose Junior Edition or Student Edition . Make sure that you click on Full Text.

1. Type in your topic and click on Search.

2. The description of the article, the number of words or pages, and the name of the magazine will give you hints of how useful the article will be.

3. Read the articles on the screen and print them to use later as needed.
