Print Resources in the Library

•  Use the Athena Catalog. Type: Last Name, First Name Click: Search.

•  Search for your person (Last name!) in the Encyclopedia of World Biography or the encyclopedias.

Electronic Resources:

These resources are available to you at school or at home. Access them from the high school library website.

•  Click on INFOTRAC        Type in the password.

Choose General Reference Center Gold Type in the name of your person to find articles in magazines and reference books (treat this information just as you would information you find in a book in the library). Look at the number of words in the article, the kind of article, and the title to determine whether or not it will be useful to you.

•  Click on WilsonWeb    Type in the User ID and password.

Type in the name of your person and choose Subject in the drop down menu. You will find biographies from several sources as well as magazine articles.
