Algebra 1 B is the study of linear, quadratic, exponential, radical, and rational models of change as tables, graphs, equations, and verbal descriptions. Emphasis is on problem solving and the skills of distribution and factoring.
Grades will be based on the students demonstrated understanding of the above concepts by the end of the course. Tests, quizzes, homework completion, and class participation will be used to determine the student’s degree of understanding. Copying other peoples work, whether in class or out, will result in a zero for the assignment and may result in a failing grade for the class.
Homework assignments will be posted on my page on the Peoples Academy web site at http://www.morrisville.org/PAHS/PAHS_teachers.asp?Teacher=mathematics/fritz/index.htm. Students are expected to attempt to do the homework each day, whether they are in class or not.
