Paris
Salut!!
We have been busy here in Paris. Our first day, we were strolling up towards L'arc de Triomphe on the Champs Elysees when, who did we run into but...Meagan Duffy! What a magical treat for the kids to unexpectadely spend three days with her. She is now a European after having lived with a family in Belgium for seven months.
We went up the Eiffel Tower today with clear blue skies and howling winds (the tower actually sways ten feet each way in the wind). We went up to the Sacre Coeur church, with the best view of the city. We then went underground to view the thousands of bones buried in the Catacombs (it is here, where Quasimodo and Esmerelda are buried). Last night we took a beautiful night boat ride down the center of Paris on the Seine. David Coffey has changed his look with a haved head and nice French chapeau.
We'll be back in Geneva tomorrow... hopefully we'll get some student input again and will post more pictures from Paris.
