Writing

Writing this week:

Spelling strategy:  double consonant -ies, plurals

Eric Carl stories!  The students are all writing their own stories to 'publish'. They will be using collage art to illustrate their stories like Eric Carle (author of The Very Hungry Caterpillar).

Math

Multiplication strategies:

Splitting up arrays to figure out larger multiplication facts.
