Transfer tasks that we set for last Friday to today for completion.

Some questions at this point:

Segment Producer: are you keeping track of team performance in some way?  Also, are you reinforcing the importance of citing resources as the Media Specialist and Lead Historian gather information assets?

Media Specialist: are you making a back-up of your groups folder in case something happens to the original?

Photo Story Engineer: have you talked with the Media Specialist about the cataloging of information and media assets that you will have to draw from the team's folder to start putting your segment together?

Special: Lead Historian and Media Specialist

Segment Producer

Content Outline is due today.

Email a copy to Mr. Arnold before leaving class today (mark.arnold@morrisville.org)

Photo Story Engineer

You should feel completely at home with producing content slides for your segment.  If you have questions about using Photo Story, creating and saving slides, etc.  Ask them!

Lead Historian and Media Specialist

Some things to consider in terms of hitting the mark with your segment presentation:

1. Are you truly learning (researching and investigating) the topics that are part of your segment... don't forget the point is to educate others in the class about your topic perspective relating to the Gilded Age.  To do a good job of this you really need to learn about yourself.  Make sure you share information with your team as you go along.  Think of it like you are mining knowledge about your subject.  You have to know a subject well to engage others with learning about it.

2.  Is your information starting to come toward a "flow" that resembles a good story?  Most people will be asleep quickly if your segment is a bunch of facts.

* Go over tentative schedule for remainder of project
