to let us know of any children eligible so an appointment can be scheduled.   No Kindergarten classes for the current K students on these two days.

May 2-6 : Literary Trivia Challenge for 5 th Graders includes class challenges on Monday-Thursday and grade level final on Friday.

May 2-27: The Developmental Reading Assessment (DRA) is individually administered to 2 nd graders.

May 6: The Drama Club's performance date for “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” at 6:00 pm at PA Auditorium.

May 17 : Grade 4 - Farm Visit in Stowe 8:30 am-1:30 pm

May 17: Spring Concert for Grades 4 & 5 (for those in Chorus and Select Chorus) , 7:00 pm

CURRENT KINDERGARTEN FAMILIES : A reminder that there will be no classes for your child on Friday, April 29 th , or Monday, May 2 rd , due to Registration/Orientation as described above.

 

SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR is being held April 5-15 th in the Morristown Elementary Library.  This fair offers students, families and community the opportunity to purchase books and related merchandise. Proceeds benefit the Morristown Elementary School libraries.  The fair is open April 5-8 and April 11-14 from 7:30 am – 3:30 pm and Friday, April 15 from 7:30 - 11:30 am .  The book fair will also be open on Friday, April 8th, during the Family Arts & Crafts Night from 6:00-8:00 pm and Saturday, April 9 th from 10:00 am-1:00 pm .

 

SPRING FLING SPORTS & MORE SALE to benefit the future PA Ice Hockey Team. Come to the Elementary School Gym from 9-3 on Saturday, April 30.  Local retail shops will be selling new and slightly used equipment.  Consignment items can be dropped off Friday evening from 5:00-7:00 pm .   For more information call Anne Demars at 888-3198.

LOST AND FOUND :  All families are asked to check the lost and found areas in both school buildings for those winter items that tend to get left during these weeks of changing weather.  Having your child's name in all items brought to school is really helpful in getting found items back to their owners.
