Library Schedule- MES
The MES Library is open every day school is in session from 7:30 AM until 3:30 PM.  All elementary classes have a regularly scheduled time to come to the library on a weekly basis.  Students may also visit the library before and after school and during the day with their teacher's permission.

The Graded Building Library is open to teachers at any time during the regular school day but is not staffed except during regularly scheduled classes.

Library Events
April 5-15, 2005      Spring Scholastic Book Fair

The book fair will be open from 7:30 AM until 3:30 PM beginning Tuesday, Apr. 5.  Friday, Apr. 15, the book fair will close at noon.  On Saturday, Apr. 9, the book fair will be open from 10 AM until 1 PM. 

May 1-5, 2005      Literary Trivia Challenge (5th Grade)

Class rounds will take place during regular library times May 1-4.  On Friday, May 5, the class winners will face each other to determine the 5th Grade Champion.  Parents and friends are welcome to view any of the rounds.

Book Check out
Grades K-1
Students may check out one book at a time for one week.
Grades 2-5
Students may check out up to two books at a time for a period of two weeks. Books may be renewed once for an additional two week period.  When books are overdue, students will receive a written notice.  If the book remains overdue, the student may be asked to call home to ask for help in remembering to return the book.  The MES Library charges no overdue fines, but requires students to pay for lost or damaged books.
