Barre Rec. Fields

FROM I-89:    Get off at Exit 6 (Barre/South Barre).  Getting off the interstate ramp, you can go only in one direction on the access road (Route 63).  Stay on access road for about 3 miles to traffic signal at bottom of hill and intersection with Route 14.  Go straight through intersection onto Barre Town 's Middle Road .  Go about 1½ miles up Middle Road .  Just past the Lazy Lion Campground, at the top of the hill, turn left onto Graniteville Road .  (Rock of Ages is at the intersection.)   Travel about 1 mile on Graniteville Road to first intersection and turn right onto Websterville Road ( Wilson Cemetery is at the intersection). The Town Recreation and Athletic Complex are on the right between St. Sylvester Cemetery and the Barre Town School . The Public Works Facility (#129) is on the left at the railroad tracks.  The Town Municipal Building (#149) is on the left after the railroad tracks -- about 3/4 mile from the intersection.

Soccer Field(Varsity) is located near the Trade School on the right headed up the hill to the school. You will need to take a right (Baker Ave.)just past the school and follow the winding road to end then turn to the left will walk over a foot bridge to field. JV Field: AT top of hill turn right. Don't turn into the Academy drive. Go down hill (S. Main St. at bottom of hill turn right at stop sign(Rt. 5 South) Go past the interstate entrances and under both interstate bridges.  You will pass the Vt. State Police on your right; go down the hill you will see the Regional Correctional Center on your right; keep going on your left you will see the Union Baptist School/Church parking lot where the field is located. Park to the far left in the lot not in front of school/church.

Union-32 H.S. Rte. 100-S » take I-89-S to Exit 8 »(Montpelier), and continue straight off the ramp. Travel thru several stop lights. At the intersection of Rt. 2 and Rt. 302, bear to the left onto Rt. 2 East. After the lights just past the Exxon Station, turn left onto Gallison Hill Rd. Travel up th hill and the school is on the right.
